Amendment 2 - Right to Bear Arms. Ratified 12/15/1791. Note

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

In the context of the Constitution, phrases like "shall not be infringed," "shall make no law," and "shall not be violated" sound pretty unbendable, but the Supreme Court has ruled that some laws can, in fact, encroach on these phrases. For example, though there is freedom of speech, you cannot slander someone; though you can own a pistol, you cannot own a nuclear weapon.

Is the First Amendment just for the media or for every person in the U.S.A.?

Is the Fifth Amendment just for criminals and Communists or for every person in the U.S.A.?

I could go on, but I doubt you can grasp anything outside of liberal, leftist crap.

Everyone, except (IMHO) those that take an oath to uphold the constitution as part of their job. I thought we were talking about the 2nd.

Why should I bother to spoon feed you when you don't address mine? A good liberal, leftist answer is to change very slightly the subject of the discussion.

"We can't drill our way out of this problem" is no different than "if we had started drilling 15 years ago, we would have the oil now". Both thoughts are useless in the oil problem.

You are beginning to write a lot like another poster who always needs my help.
