How could the school board not know when they approved the calendar that Spring break did not coincide with Easter Hoilday. Thats like saying they didn't know when Christmas is.

Are the ones who propose the school calendar to the board a bunch of liberal atheists. I don't buy their explanation on moving it to break up the time off between MLK Jr. day off and what every else it was as stated in Monday's Daily Mail.

Just because I"m an atheist who happens to be somewhat liberal doesn't mean I"m stupid.

Now - I wasn't on the calendar committee, but there have been years that our spring break hasn't coincided with Easter. It's been a while, but I can remember trying to use that time to plant my garden and they ended up getting frost bit because it was too soon in the season.

Let's just go with year-round schools and be done with this nonsense. The United States has fallen behind other countries that have year-round schools. If we are to be a leader, we must be the most educated country in our world.
